Job summary

MV Transportation seeks an Operations Manager in California to lead the assigned location, ensuring delivery of annual business plans. You will manage the contract’s daily operations, including on-time performance, driver availability, call center functions, and customer relations.

The role requires management experience in paratransit, scheduling and staff training, strong analytical and communication skills, and knowledge of contractual obligations. Salary range is $110,000–$120,000.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of management experience in a paratransit environment.
• Experience with scheduling, personnel management and training.
• Ability to work independently with strong analytical, written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of contractual obligations.
• Knowledge of company policy to ensure consistent driver activity assessments.
• Trapeze experience preferred.
• Experience managing a fast-paced environment.
• Experience obtaining Verification of Transit Training Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-time performance and driver availability.
• Oversee all call center functions.
• Manage customer relations and outreach programs.
• Identify, hire, and mentor location staff.
• Communicate with staff and support teams regularly.
• Oversee safety/training programs to meet requirements.
• Maintain safety culture within the division.
• Maintain client contact to meet expectations.
• Assist with location audits.
• Review key operational metrics daily, weekly, monthly.
• Promote adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in location labor and employee relations.
