Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Paralegal Manager to lead the firm’s paralegal program across practices and states. The role emphasizes multi‑jurisdictional mass tort and large litigation support, ensuring efficiency and high‑quality service to firm lawyers.

You will oversee staffing, develop training programs, manage mentoring, and collaborate with leadership on performance and policy. Remote optional, with firm locations nationwide as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong judgment, organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with performance management and policy enforcement.
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Collaborative approach and adaptability to evolving demands.

Responsibilities

• Oversee paralegal work allocation to ensure excellent legal support for attorneys.
• Coordinate onboarding of new hires and introduce them to Husch Blackwell’s culture and workflows.
• Develop and implement training programs and manage the paralegal mentoring program.
• Partner with leadership on annual performance evaluations and compensation recommendations.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive improvements in paralegal workflows and productivity.
