Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Paralegal Manager to administer the firmwide Paralegal Program, driving efficiency and professional development for large teams handling high-volume litigation, corporate, and regulatory matters.

The role reports to the Director – Paralegals & Practice Professionals and will oversee staffing, onboarding, and performance evaluations while collaborating across Practice Specialty Center Leaders to meet strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in legal or Complex Torts.
• Minimum 3 years of Paralegal experience in corporate, regulatory, or Complex Tort litigation.
• Strong judgement, organizational, and time-management skills.
• High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, prioritization and communication skills.
• Experience with performance management and policy enforcement.
• Emotional intelligence, discretion, and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Lead paralegal teams to deliver excellent services to stakeholders.
• Oversee paralegal work allocation and coordination with legal recruiting.
• Coordinate onboarding, meetings, and communications firmwide.
• Develop industry-related training programs with Practice Specialty Center Leaders.
• Manage the paralegal mentoring program.
• Partner with Performance & Compensation to evaluate performance and compensation.
