Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Paralegal Manager to oversee a firmwide paralegal program, driving efficiency, professional development, and high-quality support for transactional, compliance, and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will lead multi‑jurisdictional mass tort teams within the Complex Tort SBUs and collaborate with leadership to meet strategic objectives.

The role emphasizes staffing, training, performance management, and productivity oversight, with remote or any location

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business administration, or related field.
5+ years of management experience in legal or Complex Torts.
3+ years of Paralegal experience in corporate, regulatory, or Complex Tort matters.
Strong judgement, organizational, and time-management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, prioritization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage paralegals to ensure delivery of excellent services to stakeholders.
Oversee paralegal work allocation and hiring recommendations.
Develop industry related training programs and manage mentoring.
Support annual performance evaluations and compensation recommendations.
Monitor productivity metrics and implement efficiency improvements.
