Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Paralegal Manager to lead the firm’s paralegal program across multiple national locations, with remote or in‑person options. You will oversee staffing, training, performance evaluations, and workflow optimization for large teams supporting transactional, regulatory, and Complex Tort matters.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of management experience in legal settings and at least 3 years as a paralegal in complex litigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in legal or Complex Torts.
• Minimum 3 years of Paralegal experience in corporate, regulatory, or Complex Tort litigation.
• Strong judgement, organizational, and time-management skills.
• High level of professional integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, prioritization and communication skills.
• Experience with performance management and policy enforcement.
• Exhibit high emotional intelligence, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Proficient in project management tools and data interpretation.
• Collaborative approach and adaptability to evolving business demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage paralegal teams to deliver exceptional legal support.
• Oversee paralegal work allocation and staffing for projects.
• Coordinate onboarding and integration of new hires with firm culture and workflows.
• Develop training programs with Practice Specialty Center Leaders and Professional Development.
• Participate in annual performance evaluations and compensation discussions.
• Monitor productivity metrics and ensure policy compliance.
• Foster accountability, efficiency, and client-centered service.
