Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Paralegal Manager to lead the firmwide Paralegal Program, driving efficiency and professional development. The role supports complex mass tort, corporate, regulatory, and litigation matters with a focus on high-volume teams.

The candidate should have significant management experience in legal environments, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to integrate automation and AI tools to enhance workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in legal or Complex Torts.
• Minimum 3 years of Paralegal experience in corporate, regulatory, or Complex Tort litigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead paralegal team to deliver high-quality support for transactional, compliance, and litigation matters.
• Oversee paralegal work allocation and staffing
• Coordinate onboarding and training, with cross-functional teams
• Develop training programs with Practice Specialty Center Leaders and Professional Development team
• Manage paralegal mentoring program
• Participate in annual performance evaluations and compensation recommendations
• Monitor adherence to firm policies, standards, and ethics
• Drive process improvements and automate workflows where applicable
• Provide regular feedback and foster a culture of accountability and client-centered service quality
