The Dow Chemical Company in Midland, MI is seeking a Paralegal to provide operational support to paralegals, attorneys, and other legal professionals within Dow Legal. Primary focus is Innovation Law docketing, with effective collaboration across Core Legal Practices – Technology & Operations.

You will handle patent docketing, filing, and related processes, maintain data integrity, and coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and counsel to ensure timely and accurate matter administration.

Formación

• Associate degree or 2 years paralegal/IP docketing experience.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.
• Detail-oriented with strong judgment, initiative, and discretion.

Responsabilidades

• Support U.S. and international patent docketing and filing operations.
• Read and analyze client mail for IPMS docketing due dates.
• Collaborate with internal teams, records centers, vendors, and outside counsel to support case administration.
• Maintain accurate operations data, reference resources, and authority documentation.
• Review formal patent and trademark documentation and ensure proper signatures and legalizations.
• Proactively communicate potential issues to the Innovation Case team.
