Job summary

Dow is seeking a Paralegal in Midland, MI to support the patent docketing and filing operations for U.S. and international matters.

You will ensure accurate docketing, process incoming client mail for due dates, and coordinate with records centers, vendors, and counsel to maintain compliance with IPMS and related procedures. The role requires an associate degree or 2 years of relevant experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with various teams.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or 2 years of relevant paralegal/ IP docketing experience.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide docketing support for U.S. and international patent matters, including filings and reminders.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and counsel to ensure accurate case administration.
• Maintain accurate operations data, records and authority documentation.
• Review formal patent and trademark documents and ensure proper signatures and filings.
• Proactively communicate issues to the Innovation Case team to protect status of applications/patents.
• Utilize Dow and external tools to support docketing and filing processes.
