Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Patent Prosecution Paralegal to provide specialized patent prosecution support as a member of the Core Legal Practices – Patent team.

Based on site in Midland, Michigan, or Lake Jackson, Texas, you will independently manage diverse domestic and international patent prosecution assignments across multiple professionals and jurisdictions. You will work closely with attorneys and docketing teams, building capability across U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate degree OR 2 years relevant experience in paralegal, legal or IP docketing roles.
• Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file U.S. patent applications, international PCT applications, and related submissions.
• Coordinate domestic and foreign patent prosecution activities, including filing instructions and correspondence.
• Monitor dockets and deadlines, coordinate with attorneys, clients, foreign counsel, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate patent and document management records; report to clients on official communications and deadlines.
