Job summary

EcoShield Pest Solutions seeks a Junior Paralegal to support the Office of the General Counsel in litigation and arbitration across state and federal courts from our Gilbert, AZ headquarters. The role handles deadlines, discovery, insurance aspects of claims, and maintenance of our multi-state entity portfolio, with in-office attendance two days per week.

You will coordinate with carriers, brokers, adjusters and external counsel, supervise the Legal Assistant, perform legal research and draft

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification is required.
• Minimum 3+ years supporting litigation/arbitration in multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience with insurance claims, coverage, and carrier communications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel.
• Experience with document management systems (e.g., Clio) and e-filing systems (e.g., PACER/CM-ECF).
• Skilled in legal research and writing with proper citations.

Responsibilities

• Support litigation and arbitration across multiple jurisdictions and forums, including pleadings, discovery, and motion preparation.
• Track jurisdiction-specific rules, filing deadlines, and e-filing requirements.
• Manage insurance aspects of claims, including notices and carrier communications.
• Maintain multi-state entity records, compliance, and corporate filings.
• Supervise and audit the Legal Assistant and docket deadlines.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda with citations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to manage matters, budgets, and invoices.
• Gatekeeper to counsel for appropriate matter assignment and escalation.
