Job summary

EcoShield Pest Solutions in Gilbert, AZ, is seeking a Junior Paralegal to support the Office of the General Counsel on litigation and arbitration matters in multiple jurisdictions. The role includes managing discovery, deadlines, and insurance claims, and maintaining corporate records across states.

You will supervise the Legal Assistant, perform legal research, and coordinate with external counsel. This hybrid role requires in-office attendance two days per week at the Gilbert headquarters.

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certification required.
• Minimum of 3+ years supporting litigation/arbitration in multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience with insurance claims, coverage, or risk management preferred.
• Experience with corporate entity management and compliance across states.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Familiarity with Document Management Systems (e.g., Clio) and e-filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Support litigation and arbitration matters in multiple jurisdictions, including pleadings, discovery, and trial prep.
• Track jurisdiction-specific rules, filing requirements, and e-filing deadlines.
• Manage insurance aspects of claims, including notices to carriers and communications with brokers/defense counsel.
• Maintain multi-state entity portfolio, including formations, annual reports, and registered agent matters.
• Supervise and audit the Legal Assistant to ensure proper labeling and calendar deadlines.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda with proper citations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on case and entity compliance goals.
• Assist General Counsel with administrative tasks (e.g., AZ Bar requirements).
