Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to work with wholesale customers, determine their needs, and recommend product solutions while ensuring high quality service and satisfaction. You will assist with paint specifications, troubleshoot on-line issues, stay up-to-date with product features, and help maintain store visual standards and meet sales goals.

The role involves lifting up to 50–70 lbs, may require evenings and weekends, and requires a clean safety record

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Willing to wear a respirator and handle hazardous materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer quality and service expectations are met.
• Assist customers in preparing paint specifications to meet product applications.
• Troubleshoot online technical problems and product formulations.
• Advise customers on product line changes and improvements.
• Train customers on product knowledge and application methods.
• Coordinate technical service issues between branch, sales reps and product service room.
• Maintain store standards and assist with inventory and deliveries.
