Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Grand Rapids is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, and recommend products. You will handle in-store and phone inquiries and strive to meet monthly and yearly sales goals.

You will maintain product knowledge, participate in stocking, tinting, and display setup, and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction while adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and sales.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products.
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and follow store policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; tint and mix products as needed.
