Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist wholesale and retail customers, answer product questions, and recommend solutions in multiple stores across Michigan. You will resolve concerns promptly and maintain product quality and store appearance.

Responsibilities include processing sales, meeting sales goals, stocking shelves, tinting and mixing products, and assisting with deliveries.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
Experience in customer service or retail is a plus.
Flexible and willing to learn product features and recommendations.

Responsibilities

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
Stock shelves and set up displays.
Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries when needed.
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
