Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Grand Rapids, MN 55744 is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist customers, determine needs, and present appropriate products and services. You will process sales, stock shelves, tint/mix paints, and help with deliveries.

You’ll work to maintain high customer satisfaction, meet sales goals, and stay knowledgeable on product options. This full-time role involves evening/weekend hours and compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams rating of at least "meets expectations".
• Must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
