Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Grand Rapids, MN is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, explain product options, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

The role involves processing sales, stocking, deliveries, and maintaining store appearance, with opportunities to grow in a busy retail environment. Candidates must be 18+, able to lift up to 70 lbs, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, you must have at least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on your most recent performance appraisal and completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse and tint/mix products as needed
