Job summary

Sherwin-Williams seeks a Customer Service Specialist to support wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, and recommend product solutions. You will resolve concerns promptly and stay up-to-date with product features while maintaining store visuals.

The role involves handling transactions, stocking, tinting/mixing, and assisting with deliveries as needed. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs are required, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee must have at least a “meets expectations” rating on the latest performance appraisal.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
