Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Branch Customer Service Specialist to support commercial paint customers by identifying needs, answering questions, and recommending suitable products. You will strive for maximum customer satisfaction while achieving store sales goals in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include handling sales transactions, stocking displays, tinting and mixing products, and assisting with deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. on occasion and retrieve materials from shelves.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: must have at least a 3 rating.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employee: must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks.
• Assist in making deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
