Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking a Pain Territory Business Manager to establish relationships with physicians and promote JOURNAVX in the territory. You will develop product expertise, map stakeholders, and drive hospital engagement while collaborating with PTAMs and HQ teams.

This role requires travel and strong ethics in a highly matrixed environment. The TBM will report to a Regional Field Leader and work within hospital systems to pull through access, formulary adoption, and payer

Qualifications

• 5+ years of biotech sales experience.
• Product launch experience in acute pain is highly desired.
• Experience engaging with physicians and with retail pharmacies is beneficial.
• Experience pulling through inpatient formularies, protocols, and order sets.
• Proficiency with Veeva CRM and working in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with assigned physicians to build awareness and adoption of JOURNAVX.
• Develop expertise on product attributes and educate healthcare professionals on its use.
• Understand physician, territory, market dynamics, and stakeholder networks for growth.
• Create and execute strategic territory plans to drive opportunities and hospital engagement.
• Drive sales performance and ensure forecasts and budgets are met or exceeded.
• Collaborate with field teams and HQ to align business plans and initiatives.
• Model ethics and integrity in all work and ensure compliance.
