Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated is seeking a Pain Territory Business Manager (TBM) in the Boston area to establish relationships with Health Care Professionals and promote JOURNAVX, a novel NaV1.8 inhibitor, in acute pain settings.

The TBM will collaborate with Pain Territory Account Managers and field teams to drive hospital and physician engagement, ensure access, and meet territory growth targets while adhering to compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in biotech sales.
• Product launch experience in acute pain (highly desired).
• Experience engaging with retail pharmacies for stocking and pull-through.
• Experience with inpatient formularies, protocols, pathways, and order sets.

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with assigned physicians to drive adoption of JOURNAVX.
• Educate healthcare professionals on product use and clinical attributes.
• Understand territory, market dynamics, stakeholder mapping, and access drivers.
• Develop and execute strategic territory business plans for growth in hospitals.
• Drive sales, forecast accuracy, and budget attainment.
• Collaborate with PTAMs, field medical, HEOR, IDN and payer teams.
