Job summary

Vertex is seeking a Pain Territory Business Manager to establish relationships with physicians to promote JOURNAVX, a selective NaV1.8 inhibitor for acute pain. You will work with PTAMs and hospital networks to drive adoption and manage territory plans, with travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of biotech sales with product launch experience preferred.
• Experience engaging with diverse physicians and retail pharmacies to drive adoption and pull through.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with assigned physicians to promote JOURNAVX.
• Develop and maintain product and clinical attribute expertise for education of HCPs.
• Map territory dynamics, stakeholders, and access pathways to drive growth.
• Create strategic territory business plans aligned with hospital/IDN engagement strategies.
• Drive sales performance, forecasts, and budgets to meet territory targets.
• Collaborate with PTAMs, field medical, HEOR, IDN and payer teams to align plans.
