Job summary

Safelite Group, Inc. is seeking a Technician Trainee in the United States to be trained in auto glass installation, repair, and recalibration. The program leads to Safelite SafeTech certification and equips you to perform unsupervised work with high-quality results.

You will learn hands-on and in-classroom methods, with ongoing support to deliver timely, safe services and customer satisfaction while embodying a can-do attitude and service mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to learn Safelite SafeTech certification.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems; diagnose issues.
• Provide additional services & products to customers.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, tools and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
