Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Technician Trainee in the United States to train as an auto glass technician and earn the Safelite SafeTech certification. The program combines hands-on learning with classroom training to prepare you for unsupervised glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations.

You’ll work to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction from day one. During training, you’ll be paid to learn with progression from trainee to certified technician, gaining proficiency in

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apprentice the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom training.
• Assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products to customers.
