Job summary

Safelite is hiring a Technician Trainee to join our auto glass team. You’ll be trained to become a proficient auto glass technician and, upon completion, will receive the Safelite SafeTech certification to perform repairs, replacements and recalibrations.

The program combines hands-on learning and classroom instruction, with paid training, all tools provided, and clear paths for advancement based on performance, quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in auto glass installation and repair.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostics.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass Safelite certification tests.
• Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and chemicals.
• Perform other duties and comply with policies.
