Job summary

Safelite in the United States is inviting applicants to join as a Technician Trainee. You’ll be trained through hands-on and classroom instruction to become a proficient auto glass technician and earn the SafeTech certification.

During the program you’ll observe, assist with installation and repair of auto glass, recalibrate safety systems, and learn to provide additional services while upholding Safelite’s service standards and customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way, through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide additional services and products.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
