Job summary

Safelite Group, Inc. is seeking a Technician Trainee to join our automotive glass team.

You’ll be trained on the Safelite way through hands-on and classroom sessions, with the goal of earning Safelite SafeTech certification and mastering glass repair, replacement, and recalibration tasks. You’ll observe and assist in installations, recalibrations, and diagnostic testing while embracing a positive attitude, safety, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (state required to operate company vehicle).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Be paid to learn and apprentice the Safelite way, through hands-on and classroom training.
• Observing and assisting in installing and repairing auto glass.
• Recalibrating automotive safety systems and performing diagnostic testing.
• Providing additional services & products.
• Study and pass testing to become Safelite-certified Technician.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, tools and chemicals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
