Job summary

Target Stores Executive Internship offers a paid, hands-on training path to develop leadership skills in a retail environment. This 40 hr/week program provides exposure to multiple store areas while you learn to lead teams and deliver exceptional guest service.

Participants work closely with an Executive Team Lead mentor, gain real responsibility, and participate in ongoing development conversations designed to prepare you for a future ETL role within Target.

Qualifications

• Paid internship program with 40 hr/week schedule to develop store leadership.
• Led by an Executive Team Lead mentor with hands-on training.
• Includes leading a team and delivering guest service while building business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Spend days on the store sales floor and backroom leading team members and aligning priorities.
• Work with your ETL mentor and leaders to understand roles and operations.
• Lead daily priorities, stock shelves, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests.
• Partner with leaders to coach performance and remove hurdles to achieve goals.
• Attend internship program training activities and seek growth opportunities.
