Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is offering a paid Management & Sales Internship in Fresno, CA for a 10-12 week summer term. Interns gain hands-on experience in management, sales, and store operations while supporting customer experiences in our paint stores.

Participants will shadow Sales Representatives, work with management, and complete a team-based project addressing real business issues with leadership support. College students are encouraged to apply; graduates are not eligible.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service in-store and over the phone.
• Assist customers by recommending items and supporting sales goals.
• Develop product knowledge to answer inquiries and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Restock shelves, support inventory management, and assist visual merchandising efforts.
• Support store operations including POS transactions and general upkeep.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing stockrooms to ensure inventory flow.
• Participate in required training and adhere to store policies and loss prevention protocols.
• Collaborate with intern peers on a team project addressing a real business challenge.
• Demonstrate teamwork, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
