Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program offering hands-on experience in our retail stores, providing insight into management, sales, and store operations as well as meaningful customer experiences.

Our store internship program provides a comprehensive learning experience through practical business-to-business and retail exposure in a paint store, including time with a Sales Representative and with your management team.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or co-op program.
• Must be at least eighteen years old and legally authorized to work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service in-store and over the phone.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers by recommending items.
• Develop strong product knowledge to answer inquiries and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Restock shelves and support inventory management and merchandising.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store operations.
• Help with unloading deliveries and organizing stockrooms.
• Participate in required training and adhere to store policies and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with teammates to resolve customer concerns and complete tasks.
• Work on a team project addressing a real business challenge with leadership support.
