Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company invites students to join its Management & Sales Internship, a paid 10-12 week summer program in our California retail stores. You will gain hands-on experience in management, sales, store operations, and customer relations while shadowing a Sales Representative and collaborating with leadership.

Interns work on a team project addressing a real business challenge, with opportunities to apply classroom learning to practical retail and business issues.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university during the internship
• Open to rising juniors or seniors at program start
• Ability to work in a retail environment and interact with customers

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service in-store and over the phone
• Maintain product displays and assist customers with recommendations
• Develop knowledge of merchandise to answer inquiries and manage inventory
• Restock shelves, support inventory, and assist with visual merchandising
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store operations
• Unloading deliveries and organizing stockrooms to ensure efficient flow
• Participate in required training and follow store policies
• Collaborate with interns on a project addressing a real business challenge
