Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is offering a paid Management & Sales Internship in California for a 10–12 week summer program. Interns will gain hands-on experience in retail stores, with exposure to management, sales, and store operations, including a project on a real business issue and leadership support.

Responsibilities cover customer service, sales support, merchandising, and logistics, with opportunities to progress into the Management and Sales Training Program for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university during internship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service in-store and over the phone.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers to meet needs.
• Develop strong product knowledge and help with inventory accuracy.
• Restock shelves, support inventory management, and visual merchandising.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store operations.
• Support logistics: unload deliveries and organize stockrooms.
• Participate in training and comply with store policies, safety, and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with interns on a team project addressing a real business challenge.
