Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company offers a paid Management & Sales Internship in Daly City, CA, a 10-12 week summer program. Interns gain hands-on experience across sales, management, merchandising, and store operations while shadowing a Sales Representative and management team.

Interns complete a capstone project addressing a real business issue and may pursue the Management & Sales Training Program after completion. Open to college students only.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service in-store and over the phone.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers to meet needs and sales goals.
• Develop strong product knowledge to answer inquiries and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Restock shelves and support inventory management and visual merchandising.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store maintenance.
• Help unload deliveries and organize stockrooms to sustain flow.
• Participate in required training sessions and follow store policies (safety, HR, loss prevention).
• Support teammates in resolving customer concerns and completing shared tasks.
• Collaborate on a team project addressing a real business challenge or store initiative.
