Ruppert Landscape offers a 10–12 week paid internship in landscape maintenance, running May–August 2027. Interns will gain hands-on field experience, shadow key teams, and receive dedicated mentorship to prepare for a career in the commercial landscape industry.

This field-focused program blends field and office exposure, with opportunities to present progress and explore future roles within Ruppert’s culture and values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active pursuit of a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with willingness to support a variety of operational needs.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on field operations exposure across landscape production and branch operations.
• Shadowing in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Mentorship and feedback to support professional development.
• Exposure to leadership development, etiquette, communication, and management best practices.
• Collaborative projects with interns and team members; active networking within Ruppert.
