Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co is offering a 10-12 week paid internship in landscape maintenance. You will gain hands-on field training across field operations, shadow multiple departments, and work with mentors to develop leadership and professional skills.

The program emphasizes real-world experience, teamwork, and practical knowledge to prepare for a career in the commercial landscape industry. You will participate in projects outside and in the office, with a clear pathway to potential full-time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in related fields such as Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable in office and outdoor field environments.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient with MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Shadow departments including Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Work with a mentor and receive regular feedback for professional development.
• Participate in leadership development and etiquette training.
• Collaborate with teammates on meaningful projects and learn industry practices.
• Build a professional network within Ruppert Landscape.
• Opportunity for additional training in chosen department before completion.
• Deliver a final presentation summarizing internship experiences and learnings.
