Job summary

Ruppert Landscape offers a 10–12 week, paid Landscape Maintenance Internship designed to provide hands-on field experience and exposure to branch operations. Interns will learn through field training, shadowing, and dedicated mentorship, with opportunities to explore departments and build a professional network.

Schedule is outside in various roles, with a final presentation showcasing projects, lessons learned, and how you contributed to Ruppert’s culture and values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Candidates actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Interest in a team-oriented, customer-focused industry with willingness to support a variety of operational needs.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of routine duties.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Job shadowing with teams in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Dedicated mentorship with regular feedback and professional development.
• Exposure to management and leadership development practices.
