Ruppert Landscape Maintenance offers a 10–12 week, paid internship in landscape maintenance. The program provides hands-on field training across various operations, job shadowing with key teams, dedicated mentorship, and leadership development opportunities.

Interns will gain real-world experience, exposure to multiple departments, and the chance to build a professional network within Ruppert’s culture. Pay is $16–$18 per hour, with the potential for career pathways after graduation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented, customer-focused, and willing to support a variety of operational needs.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of routine job duties.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on field training across multiple areas of field operations.
• Job shadowing with teams involved in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and Branch Leadership.
• Dedicated mentorship to guide progress and professional development.
• Exposure to management and leadership development through teamwork, etiquette, communication, and leadership best practices.
