Job summary

Ruppert Landscape offers a 10–12‑week paid internship in Landscape Maintenance, providing hands‑on field training and exposure to branch operations. Interns will shadow teams in Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales, and leadership, with mentorship and structured development throughout the program.

Open to students pursuing related degrees, the internship emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and practical skills in a fast-paced landscape environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in team‑oriented, customer‑focused industry roles with flexibility to support various operational needs.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in field operations by working with crews.
• Participate in job shadowing across Field Operations, Irrigation, Enhancements, Sales and Branch Leadership.
• Receive dedicated mentorship and feedback to support professional development.
• Engage in management and leadership development activities to build professional etiquette and communication skills.
• Collaborate with teams to contribute to meaningful projects and learn Ruppert’s culture and values.
• Present internship experience and key learnings in a final presentation.
• Explore potential full-time opportunities through strong performance.
