Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) on a PRN basis. The role includes on-call availability and collaboration with surgical and anesthesia teams in a busy hospital environment.

You will deliver patient-centered care, monitor vital signs, support airway and cardiac status, and provide initial wound care while ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas or a compact state.
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the PACU.
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status; respond to complications.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Provide initial wound care and document patient condition.
• Assist with on-call responsibilities as discussed.
