Medical City Arlington is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU, PRN, as-needed. The role focuses on immediate post-operative patient care, airway support, monitoring, and initial wound care in collaboration with surgical and anesthesia teams.

Responsibilities include applying nursing processes, documenting patient changes, and educating families about care plans. Candidates should have an Associate Degree in Nursing and an RN license, with required ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications and at least 1

Qualifications

• Proven nursing care experience in PACU or related post-anesthesia setting.
• Ability to apply evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
• Strong communication with surgical/ anesthesia teams and patients' families.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the PACU.
• Monitor patient status and respond to complications.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and post-op instructions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and care teams.
• Assist with on-call duties as required.
