Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse in PACU for PRN Seasonal coverage. The role requires a minimum 72 hours per pay period and four weekend shifts every four weeks. You may float within a close geography to meet emergent staffing needs.

As part of the PACU team you will monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status, provide initial wound care, collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams, and participate in on-call availability during select non-business hours.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
• RN license in Texas or a compact license required.
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree required.
• 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the PACU.
• Monitor neurological and cardiac status and manage airway support.
• Provide initial wound care to the surgical site and ensure stability during recovery.
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Be available on-call during select non-business hours.
