Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an RN with PACU responsibilities to deliver high-quality post-operative care, manage airway support, and monitor neurological and cardiac status. You will work closely with the surgical and anesthesia teams and be available for on-call hours as discussed in the interview.

Responsibilities include applying nursing processes, educating patients and families, and collaborating with unit leaders to improve patient care.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 1 year of employment start date.
• PALS within 1 year of employment start date (RN).
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• 2 years nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team with providers, therapy, and more.
• Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care.
• Educate patients and families about the medical condition, treatment and follow-up measures.
