Zusammenfassung

Food Management Search, Inc. is partnering with a regional health system to recruit a dedicated Hospital PACU RN for their surgical services team in Great Falls, MT. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes excellent nurse-to-patient ratios and a supportive, collaborative work environment.

Daily shifts 6:00 AM–7:30 PM with rotating call; candidates will manage pre-op, post-op monitoring, line care, pain control, discharge planning, and interdepartmental coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Montana or compact endorsement eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at hire.

Aufgaben

• Pre-Operative preparation: assess and optimize patients for procedures.
• Phase I Recovery: monitor and stabilize patients post-anesthesia.
• Advanced post-op care for high-acuity patients with lines/tubes and ventilator support.
• Wound/line management and infection prevention.
• Pain control and PANV management; keep patients warm to prevent hypothermia.
• Care for observation patients from ED to discharge or transfer.
• Collaborate with providers and nursing leadership; guide junior staff.
• Discharge planning and handoffs to inpatient units.
