Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is partnering with a prominent regional healthcare system to recruit a full-time Hospital PACU Registered Nurse (RN) in Great Falls, Montana. The role emphasizes excellent nurse-to-patient ratios, strong teamwork, and compassionate perioperative care across pre-op, Phase I recovery, and observation units.

Operational hours from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM with varied shifts and a shared call rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Montana (or compact eligibility).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required on hire.
• 2–4 years of hospital experience in acute Medical/Surgical or CCU.

Responsibilities

• Assess, admit, and optimize patients for elective or outpatient procedures.
• Monitor and stabilize patients waking from anesthesia; manage airway and vitals.
• Care for post-operative patients with chest tubes, lines, and short-term ventilation.
• Oversee wound care, drains, and IV management; ensure aseptic technique.
• Coordinate care plans with Providers, Anesthesia, and nursing staff; discharge planning.
