Job summary

Lindenmeyr Munroe is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to identify and secure new business in packaging. The role emphasizes hunting new opportunities, opening doors, and conducting on-site visits with a focus on cost savings and productivity improvements.

The successful candidate will prospect manufacturers, distributors, warehouses, and other facilities, while building long-term relationships across all levels of organizations.

Qualifications

• Hunter mentality with a proven ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Comfortable with cold calling, networking, prospecting, and building relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
• Conduct daily cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and in-person visits.
• Develop relationships with plant, warehouse, operations, supply chain, purchasing and leadership teams.
• Identify opportunities to replace incumbent suppliers and capture market share.
• Generate and maintain a robust sales pipeline through continuous prospecting activities.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to identify new opportunities.
• Conduct facility walkthroughs to identify packaging inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Present packaging solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements.
