Job summary

Lindenmeyr Munroe is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to identify and secure new business in the packaging sector. The role focuses on hunter-style growth, cold calling, on-site visits, and building relationships with plant and operations managers across manufacturing, distribution, and retail sectors.

You will develop a robust pipeline, present packaging solutions, negotiate pricing, and manage accounts to drive long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Self-starter mentality and results-driven approach.
• Ability to prospect and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Comfort with cold calling, networking, and on-site visits.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.
• Conduct daily cold calls, emails, and in-person visits.
• Develop relationships with plant managers, warehouse managers, and operations leaders.
• Identify opportunities to replace incumbent suppliers and capture market share.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to identify opportunities.
• Present packaging solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Maintain detailed CRM records and conduct regular business reviews.
