Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions is seeking a driven Sales Representative to build relationships, hunt for new clients, and deliver value-added packaging solutions. You will develop strategic plans, manage key accounts, and leverage our distribution model to win business in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated sales experience within the packaging and container industries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong track record.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate persistence and overcome obstacles; measure self against excellence and take calculated risks.
• Maintain commitments and follow up with prospects and clients; volunteer for development activities.
• Architect and articulate packaging solutions delivered through our distribution model and plan strategic development of core client base.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of key customers and targets.
• Identify cost savings opportunities with the customer environment and utilize company resources to build solutions.
• Establish sales budgets, strategies, and tactical plans by product line, customer, and market.
• Follow policies, guidelines, and pricing for accounts; provide feedback on service issues.
• Partner with branch operations to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
• Utilize email and contact management software to respond quickly to customer needs.
