Smurfit Westrock Packaging Solutions is looking for an outgoing and competitive Sales Representative who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will prospect new clients, build lasting relationships and articulate value-added packaging solutions within our distribution model.

You should be able to travel locally, demonstrate strong communication skills, and develop strategic plans to grow a core client base while delivering exceptional service and meeting company goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstrated sales experience within packaging/containers industries preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong track record.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate persistence and overcome obstacles; measure against excellence standards.
• Be driven and responsible; maintain commitments and follow up with prospects and clients.
• Architect and articulate packaging solutions delivered through our distribution model; plan development of core client base and prospect for new clients.
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of key customers and targets.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and build solutions using Packaging Solutions' resources.
• Establish sales budgets, strategies, and tactical plans by product line, customer, and market.
• Follow policies, pricing, and service guidelines for customer accounts.
• Provide feedback to management regarding service failures or customer concerns.
• Partner with branch operations and corporate directives to meet customer service expectations.
• Use email and contact management software to respond quickly to customer needs.
