Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to support our food manufacturing processes. You will operate mixers, ovens, filling and packaging equipment, and help maintain quality and sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform routine quality checks, follow SOPs and GMPs, use the Redzone system for record-keeping, and collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets. This role may require overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in food production is a plus.
• Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment preferred.
• Ability to read SOPs, GMPs, and safety rules and follow them precisely.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment, including mixers, ovens, filling and packaging lines.
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials, in-process and finished goods per SOPs and GMPs.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE; participate in safety trainings.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area and equipment.
• Keep accurate production records and batch logs; assist with inventory handling.
• Collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and quality staff to meet targets.
