Job summary

Veritiv Corp. seeks a Packaging Equipment Sales Specialist to drive direct sales of packaging equipment within a defined geography.

You will assess processes and environmental factors to craft automation solutions that boost productivity and reduce total cost, while conducting customer calls, needs analyses, and proposal presentations. Your role includes strategic account planning with sales leadership, partnering with field technicians, and delivering technical proposals.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of related job experience.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Participate in strategic account planning with sales managers/directors and field sales team.
• Work closely with field service technicians to provide customer solutions and lead generation.
• Prepare and present technical proposals showing how Veritiv’s products meet customer needs and integrate with their systems.
• Support unit sales through pre-sales and post-sales technical consulting.
• Create sales opportunities through networking and cold calling; support field sellers in existing customers.
