Job summary

Amcor is seeking an on-site equipment service technician to support Rotary Vacuum Chamber and packaging equipment in protein processor plants. You will troubleshoot, perform preventative maintenance and assist in installation and start-up of packaging systems, while training customers on proper operation and maintenance.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical/mechanical tech, with Megatronics training preferred, and 3–5 years in food packaging.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent in electrical or mechanical technology preferred.
• Megatronics training and certification preferred.
• Willing to travel 75% or more and holds a valid driver’s license.
• 3–5 years experience in food packaging industry (material & machinery).

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient onsite service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support.
• Install and start-up packaging equipment and assist in equipment rebuilds.
• Train customers on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Complete reports and expense/timetable documentation on schedule.
